Location

Located approximately 10 kilometers south of Diani Beach and about 600 kilometers from Nairobi, Chale Island Resort is accessible by both air and road:

‍By Air: Scheduled flights from Nairobi’s Wilson Airport to Ukunda Airstrip take approximately 1.5 hours. From the airstrip, guests are transferred by road and then by boat or tractor (depending on tides) to the island, with the total transfer taking about 30–45 minutes.

By Road: The drive from Nairobi to Chale covers around 600 kilometers and takes 10–12 hours, including the Likoni ferry crossing and a final boat or tractor transfer to the island.
