Number of Rooms / Tents / Cottages
Salas Camp offers a variety of luxury tented accommodations, each designed to provide a comfortable yet authentic safari experience. The Luxury Tents are spacious and elegantly furnished, featuring en-suite bathrooms, comfortable bedding, and private verandas with views of the river or plains, allowing guests to connect with nature. The Family Tents are larger and include additional space and shared living areas, making them ideal for families or groups seeking comfort while experiencing the wilderness. The Premium View Tents are strategically located to offer sweeping panoramic views of the Sand River and the vast Masai Mara plains, perfect for those who want to immerse themselves in nature and wildlife.
Policies (Child Policy & Cancellation Policy)
Child Policy
- Welcoming Children of All Ages: Sala's Camp explicitly states that children of all ages are welcome to stay.
- Infant Rates: Children aged 0-2 years old stay free of charge.
- Child Rates: Children aged 3-15 are considered children for rate purposes.
Family Tents: The camp offers family tents that can accommodate up to four adults or two adults and up to three children. - Game Drives: Young children can participate in regular game drives, but the lodge manager's discretion is required.
Activities and Services: The camp provides a range of activities for children, including nature walks, bushcraft activities, and the "small five" challenge.
Meals and Services: Children's meals can be arranged, and babysitters are available on request.
Cancellation Policy
- More than 120 days before arrival: The full deposit is refunded, minus bank/payment transaction charges.
- 120-45 days before arrival: The 30% deposit is forfeited.
- 45-30 days before arrival: 50% of the full value is forfeited.
Less than 30 days before arrival or no-show: 100% is forfeited. - Unused services: There is no right to a refund for any unused accommodation, services, or meals.
