Day 1 (Arrival and Transfer to Lake Naivasha Sopa Lodge)

Your adventure begins as you arrive at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport or are picked up from your Nairobi hotel. Our friendly tour guide will warmly welcome you and accompany you on a two-hour drive to Lake Naivasha. Upon arrival at Lake Naivasha Sopa Lodge, you’ll be greeted with refreshing drinks. After check-in and a hearty lunch, you have the afternoon to explore. Options include a boat ride on Lake Naivasha or a visit to Crescent Island for a guided nature walk. In the evening, return to the lodge for dinner and relaxation.

Day 2 (Lake Naivasha to Lake Nakuru Sopa Lodge)

After breakfast at Lake Naivasha Sopa Lodge, we drive to Lake Nakuru, which takes about two hours. Upon arrival, check in at Lake Nakuru Sopa Lodge and enjoy a welcome drink. After lunch, you can visit the Menengai Crater or take a game drive in Lake Nakuru National Park, famous for its flamingos and rhinos. In the evening, return to the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 3 (Sarova Mara Game Camp, Masai Mara)

After an early breakfast, we depart for the Masai Mara National Reserve, a journey of about five hours. Upon arrival at Enkorok Mara Camp, check in and enjoy lunch. In the late afternoon, we embark on our first game drive in the Masai Mara, where we might see lions, cheetahs, elephants, and more. As the sun sets, we return to the camp for dinner and an evening around the campfire.

Day 4 (Sarova Mara Game Camp, Masai Mara)

After an early breakfast, we set out for a full day of exploration in the Masai Mara National Reserve. The morning game drive will take us deep into the reserve, offering the chance to see the "Big Five" – lions, leopards, rhinos, elephants, and buffalos – along with other wildlife. We return to the camp for lunch and leisure time. In the late afternoon, we go for another game drive, providing more opportunities for wildlife viewing. In the evening, we head back to Enkorok Mara Camp for dinner, followed by optional Maasai cultural dances or relaxation around the campfire.

Day 5 (Back to Nairobi)

We begin our final day with an early morning game drive, taking advantage of the cool morning air when animals are most active. After the game drive, we return to the camp for breakfast. Following breakfast, there is an option to visit a nearby Maasai village (at an additional cost of $30 per person) to learn about their rich culture and traditions. Afterward, we check out and begin our journey back to Nairobi, reflecting on the incredible experiences we've had. Upon arrival in Nairobi, we will either drop you off at your hotel or transfer you to Jomo Kenyatta International Airport for your onward journey.

What is unique about this plan

This itinerary is unique in that it combines stunning scenery with an abundance of animals. You will depart from Nairobi and travel to Naivasha, where you will participate in a variety of enjoyable activities such as boat rides, hiking in the Hells Gate gorges, and enjoying a therapeutic geothermal hot spring while viewing the cliffs where the famous "Lion King" film was filmed.  Lake Naivasha is also a paradise on its own, with birding, bikes, and horseback riding within the park.
The safari continues to Lake Nakuru, where you will observe both pink lesser flamingoes and the larger flamingoes. It is also known for its black rhinoceros. The safari also offers a story of another day after checking your Masai Mara safari list. Enjoy a safari within the world-famous park and perhaps a sundowner overlooking the African savannah.
