Location

Located within Tsavo West National Park, Finch Hattons Luxury Camp sits on a private 35-acre concession surrounded by natural springs and rich wildlife. It is approximately 280 kilometers from Nairobi by road, taking about 5 to 6 hours via the Nairobi–Mombasa highway. For those traveling by rail, the camp is about a 1-hour transfer from Mtito Andei Station on the Nairobi–Mombasa Standard Gauge Railway (SGR). Charter flights also offer access via Finch Hattons’ private airstrip or Kilaguni Airstrip, with a 15-minute road transfer to the camp.

Minimum Age: Children must be at least 6 years old

Family Tent: Up to two children aged 12 and under can share a family tent with two adults, with each child being charged 50% of the adult rate.

Non-Family Tent: One child aged 12 and under can share a standard tent with one or two adults, with the child being charged 45% of the adult rate.

1 or 2 children sharing with 1 adult: Each pays 75% of the double room rate.

Children Over 11: Children over 11 years old are charged adult rates.

No-shows: The full cost of the booking is charged.

Cancellations more than 30 days before travel: A 10% cancellation fee of the booking value is charged.

Cancellations within 30 days of travel: The full cost of the booking is charged.

Cancellations made in writing: All cancellations must be made in writing and are effective from the date of receipt.

Deposit and Amendment Charges: In all cases of cancellation, the deposit and any amendment charges are forfeited.

Insurance: If your travel insurance covers the reason for cancellation, you may be able to reclaim the cancellation charges.

Breakaway Travel: Arrangements for breakaway travel must be requested in writing no later than 45 days before departure.
